Our Director
Kate Keller, Director
Kate brings a deep passion for early childhood education to her role as Director of RCK Preschool. She began her teaching career in 1998, working with kindergarten students in the Bronx after earning her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Scranton. For more than two decades, Kate has remained dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences for young children.
After taking time to raise her three children in Wilton, Kate returned to the classroom as a preschool teacher, and later served as a kindergarten reading specialist in the Wilton Public Schools. These experiences deepened her commitment to fostering joyful, engaging environments where children feel seen, supported, and excited to learn.
Outside of RCK, Kate enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors—whether hiking, kayaking, or paddleboarding. She also loves cooking and sharing meals with loved ones.
Kate wholeheartedly embraces RCK’s play-based philosophy, believing that children learn best through hands-on exploration, curiosity, and creativity. She is proud to lead a team of talented, dedicated educators who nurture a warm and welcoming space where every child can thrive.
Kate feels truly fortunate to be part of the RCK community—working alongside such an inspiring team and getting to know the wonderful families who have made this preschool a cherished part of Ridgefield for nearly 60 years. She looks forward to continuing the tradition of RCK being "A Preschool with Heart."
